Summer is here and most of live in houses and all houses have either outdoor furniture, fences or something like this. And I don’t want to be the one who will say you well-known truths while claiming that such furniture needs decent and proper caring and maintaining. When you treat it the way it should be treated all pieces not only look amazing but they live rather long and successful life. Would you like to follow our advices?

How to Treat Outdoor Furniture

To maintain the original appearance, give wood a coat of oil once a year. Every time before painting it, use a remover or restorer first. It will help you to prolong the lifespan of your furniture. Wooden outdoor furniture can be easily cleaned using soapy water. And always remember one simple condition – wooden furniture should be stored indoors during cold months.

Fabric outdoor furniture can be machine-washed and usual bleach can be added for white items. Hang outside to dry. Keep fabric furniture indoors during the winter.

Aluminum, and other metal furniture needs cleaning with water and soap. Most modern metal furniture is rust-resistant or rust-free.

Frankly speaking, such furniture needs decent maintenance but it is nothing in comparison to the joy and happiness it gives.
