Dutch designers seem to be very creative these days. For example, Lucas Maasen has just created an amazing brain wave sofa. According to the author, he managed to transform his own brainwaves into a functional sofa design.

Maasenclaims describes the concept as a very functional and useful thing that will suit the needs of those who adore sleeping.

To my mind, this sofa is the juiciest piece of designing I’ve ever seen but it still looks great and cool. However, i don’t want to have at my house, because who can think about work when such a thing is in?!

We’ve seen a lot of unusual beds – some of them were really fascinating, but this one impressed me with its pure lines and simple yet sophisticated design.

I love the following description of this bed - “it belongs to why-didn’t-I-think-of-it category”. The bed looks like a piece of furniture that will collapse in a couple of minutes, but actually, it won’t.

The following ultra modern platform bed sits on four cubes and it was designed by Holger Wissmann. The bed is available in six woods and 9 colors.

Fun Bedding from Lago

After starting this blog I came to the idea that more and more designers try their best to create something really unusual and sometimes even wacky. For example, erotic furniture! But some create unusual and not awesome but strange and even spine-chilling things. What do you think about the following fun bedding design from Lago?

This surprising and wacky bed was designed by Monica Graffe for Lago, that is a popular and authoritative Italian company. Frankly speaking, this bed has the official name that sounds like – Letto Steps and it is available for ordering online right now, simply press here. I just don’t think too many people would like to get the following bedding at their houses.

According to the manufacturer, aluminum and the felt that were used to create the bed. Let me remind you that these both materials are completely recyclable. All the elements you see above, I mean hands and feet – they are movable and make this furniture pure fun to enjoy.

The fact that the exterior of the bed is made out of movable components make it a fun furniture item. Right now the bed is available in black and white.

Capsule Collection by Ziglam and Brook

Do you know how does it feel to be in a capsule? You are welcome to find it out while sitting on pieces of furniture from capsule collection by Ziglam and Brook. The collection consists of a sofa and a matching chair and it was presented at the London Design Festival 09.

The following upholstered seating collection looks very comfy and inviting, I would like to try this set. Both pieces of furniture look really inspiring and funny. Dan Ziglam and Elliot Brook selected the right fabrics of various colourful tones and textures and they look really adorable contrasting with the neutral colour of fabric.

The collection was inspired by 1960’s space age visions of the future.

A bad to dream about … I think, there is no such a person in the world, that wouldn’t like this bed. First of all, it looks amazing, then, it is really adorable and nice-looking.

It is a kind of bed that can suit even the most demanding taste and sleeper, lol. I love the details of the bedding – really attractive and classy.

This bed can been amazing for all ages and people with different social background!

How do you feel about a real family sofa? I have found for you one, presented by engineer Claus Mølgaard and designer Ole Jensen. Their wildest ideas were realized in a ‘we are family’ sofa design. The main idea of this sofa is a combination of a pile of mattresses, as well as pillows and blankets. If you are alone you are welcome to sleep, read or simply sit on the sofa and if you have guests or a big family, you can easily and quickly spread mattresses out onto the floor.

The sofa will easily provide sleeping accommodations for 6 people. What is more, it is made from un-refined bamboo and cotton. This piece of furniture comes in two colours and any of them will turn your house into an ideal place for relaxing and having rest!
