Chairs

What a chair! My first though was – disgusting, but then after a closer inspection, I came to the conclusion – not so bad. The chair was made by Utrecht School of the Arts graduate Ka-Lai Chan. According to the artist this chair shows his suppressed emotions and ideas!

The artist claims that parts of the chair are swollen and bulging, but there is a dim light at the end of the tunnel and this light is symbolized with white textile elements breaking through the surface. These white spots can be viewed as a personality of the author.

The whole chair is supported by a metal frame and upholstered in stretch PU leather. Really amazing chair!
