I know I know, most of you will claim that Rugs are old-dated and they will only spoil your stylish interior. Frankly speaking, I don’t think so since there is not better way either to make your old room look nice or add some pizzazz to it as to buy a cute rug. Because rugs help our homes look more luxurious than they are, also rugs can make it look very sophisticated and even add a couple of meters to your room (not in the literal meaning of the word, of course). That is why buying a rug is a very challenging process let alone buying expensive Persian Rugs.

Simple Tips for Buying Rugs

Enjoy these simple but useful tips and save a great deal of money on buying a rug:

Plan

It is one of the most important issues while buying a rug. Always plan what kind of rug you want!!! And determine the sum you are ready to spend on it and don’t violate these rules, since it is not very pleasant to buy a Persian rug instead of a usual one and to spend extra thousands on it ((( When you step into a shop with the plan nobody will make you buy something you weren’t going to buy. What is more, planning will help you think logically about your future rug and understand better what kind of rugs do you actually need and where you will place it.

Budget

Always formulate your budget. It is a kind of point where can’t be any excuses! But remember, that budget friendly rugs are great in the window-shop but on practice they are not reliable. Don’t even think to make a tight budget, it is always better to buy a cheaper thing than you were expecting.

Types

There is a great variety of rugs and it goes without saying that a simple area rug will be cheaper than Hand Knotted Rugs, but the quality will be poorer as well. Pay attention that traditional pile, tapestry, kilim, tafted rugs hooked and etc. is not the whole list of the existing rugs. Find more about the rug you are going to buy in order to be able to show in the shop that you  are a real expert.

Good luck!
