I would love to present you one of the most amazing projects I’ve seen in years … ten talented and cool architecture students from Columbia University GSAPP have recently completed Polymorphic, that is a kinetic installation in the form of a bench.

According to the the following bench was inspired by the kinetic action and the double-sided bench is made of a series of 119 interconnected sections and an interactive balance board.

All the sections are connected via an inventive pivot and bolt system, and it all looks so unusual and at the same time promising.

I am in love with this piece of furniture and you?

This bench looks like a circle, thus, providing unsurpassed opportunities for reading, sleeping and simply sitting.

The bench looks really inspiring and while buying it you can choose from a variety of upholstery fabrics and acrylic, wood, or steel legs.

I am ready to bet this thing will be a main attention-getter in your apartment!

Julien Carretoro, an artist from the Netherlands, has created his own vision of eternity and it looks like the following To Be Continued Bench. I don’t know whether the bench will go to masses or not but I must admit it looks incredible and hypnotizing.

According to the artist the main idea behind this bench is creating something highly recognizable and completely unique. Such a thing that will be both – nice and comfy.

The bench is made of polyurethane composite. It DOES look nice, however, I wouldn’t name it comfortable.
