Too Tight Cinderella-Inspired Stool

According to the master, the stool consists of a pillow pushed into a metal frame, which becomes the top of a stool. The main idea behind this chair is the fact it is too small to sit comfortably.

Also, the pillow is not suitable size for a stool top, but the metal frame it here to help squish the pillow down to the right size.

The chair looks very welcoming and funny!

The Kenno Chairs Childish Spirit

I have been always in love with awesome and unusual designs and that is exactly the situation with the following Kenno chairs designed by Heikki Ruoho. I love the fact that the chairs are made of recycled cardboard. They are lightweight and can be re-recycled as paper.

The Kenno chairs are created by Teemu Jarvi and were exposed at the Showroom in Finland. Kenno series includes three products: two chairs and a stool. Almost the entire cutting part is made by computer, just a little part needs manual attention.

The author says that for the Kenno chairs are necessary only four pieces of cardboard and you don’t need any glue or screws. The design is completely bold and unique, it will impress everybody around and surprise people with its durability and versatility.

One of the Kenno chair is made for children, and it is a perfect piece of furniture fro them. I love the fact that the chair can be easily discarded when the child has grown.

Letter-Shaped Stools by Sascha Grewe

I always adore all those numerous exhibitions, so the DMY 2011 Asia Exhibition tour, that showed us tons of innovative German design objects and products at seven different fairs and festivals in Asia, left me with my mouth slightly agape. My special attention goes to Sascha Grewe and his A-Z stools and tables with storage.

Each A-Z stool is made of MDF and is available in — get this — 250 colors! Such stools not only looks great but can easily serve a number os functions. The stools can be used as seats, side tables, shelves or simply as typographical objects. It seems to me the alphabet furniture rocks!

German designer Sascha Grewe is so sweet with these adorable letter-shaped stools. To my mind they are perfect for children’s room but can be used in any room in your house.

Time Out Timer Stool

Today I am really glad to present you the following fantastic chair that will add some pizzazz to any interior and make you smile. I am talking about an Hourglass Timer Stool.

The Infinity Bench

There are a lot of numerous incredible and unusual things at ICFF 2009. But I am interested in furniture of course. There is one object I liked very much – an amazing infinity bench by James Coombes and Dominique Gonfard, who are the founders of Lerival. The talent of these people is big and quickly-growing and they have already opened a new web-based store devoted to selling furniture. Their first item is named the Infinity Bench and it was made in Paris.

According to the artists such unusual shape of this bench is the result of clever mathematics and the bench is called an infinity one because it has serial rings and concentric hoops. The bench is made from wood and I don’t think it will be a comfortable one to sit on.
