If you live in a house I am ready to bet you have a lot of things to do when it comes to keeping your furniture in right condition. The following how-to guide will be extremely useful to those who would like to know the right way of freshen up patio furniture whatever it is made of:

Furniture cleaning

  • plastic furniture

Plastic furniture needs your undivided attention and a lot deal of care. Wipe it with a clean cloth soaked with a mixture of water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Don’t forget to rinse.

  • wicker furniture

Everything is much more complicated with wicker furniture. Use a brush dampened with water and a mild oil-based soap, don’t let this furniture to soak, you’ll simply spoil it. Rinse.

  • iron furniture

Wipe it only with a clean cloth dampened with a mixture of water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Rinse.

  • aluminum furniture

Apart from a water and soap mixture, gently rub the whole spots with a small amount of soft scrub.

There are some special treatments for wooden furniture, so carefully study the shelves in the supermarkets, you’ll  find a lot of interesting things there.
